John M. Whiddon brings over thirty years of experience in Regulatory and Enforcement Administration and Health Care Policy Development to his career as a Healthcare and Quality consultant
Prior to retiring from ACHA, John served almost a decade as Chief of Medicaid Program Integrity and provided leadership in the oversight, enforcement, and regulatory duties assigned to the Florida Medicaid Program. John authored and/or contributed to much of Florida's current statutory-related health care language.
A recipient of bipartisan accolades for his testimony before the U.S. Congress on innovative detection strategies for aberrant health care service delivery, John has been a frequent guest lecturer and publisher.
Additionally, he taught Human Services and Mental Health Administration as an Assistant Professor at the Florida State University.
Now a private health care consultant for the industry, John develops, markets, and implements customized Quality Assurance systems and practices for non-institutional providers, physicians, clinics, home health agencies, community mental health centers, and others.
